NEWARK - The following people were indicted on felony charges in Licking County Common Pleas Court. Michael C. Mason, 32, last known address 364 Eddy St., Newark, was charged with one count each aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony; and trespass in a habitation, a fourth-degree felony. On Feb. 10, Mason was suspected of trespassing in an occupied structure or in a separately secured or separately occupied portion of an occupied structure when another person other than an accomplice is present to commit any criminal offense when inflicting, attempting or threatening to inflict physical harm on another, according to the indictment. Brandon W. Smyers, 23, last known address 103 Valley St., Newark, was charged with one count each aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony, and felonious assault, a second-degree felony.
