Veteran Nigerian actor, Bruno Iwuoha, has died after a prolonged battle with diabetes. He was 68 years old. x
Iwuoha died in the early hours of Saturday, April 10, at the National Hospital Abuja.
A statement signed by the Director of Communications, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Monalisa Chinda Coker, reads, “It is on a sad note that we announce the passing away of our elder colleague and active member of AGN Abuja, Bruno Obinna Iwuoha.”
The National President, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas, said on behalf of the entire members of the Guild, that he commiserates with the immediate family members, friends and fans.

A little more than a month later, a new director was hired to continue Chapman’s vision.
“Lori Ullmann is the executive director now and is getting her feet on the ground,” said Hunt Brawley, president of the foundation’s board of directors. “We’re excited. She’s hit the ground running, and we’re very encouraged.”
Ullmann said she chose to take on the challenge of leading the school because it fit with her philosophy personally to get kids the education they need.
Veteran Nollywood actor, Bruno Iwuoha has passed on after a prolonged battle with diabetes.
The spokesperson for the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Monalisa China Coker broke the news in a statement.
“It is on a sad note that we announce the passing away of our elder colleague and active member of AGN Abuja, Bruno Obinna Iwuoha. He died in the early hours of this morning (10/04/2021) after a prolonged battle with diabetes,” the statement read.
It is understood that the Abia state-born actor died at the National Hospital Abuja in the early hours of Saturday where he had been in a coma for about three weeks.
