Mumbai, Aug 2 (IANS) Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra took to social media on Monday to issue a statement, saying she and her family do not deserve a media trial.
Shilpa’s statement comes at a time when her husband, businessman Raj Kundra has been granted judicial custody till August 10 in a case pertaining to alleged production and distribution of porn content.
The actress said she will not comment on the case as it is subjudice and also requested the media for some privacy saying the past few days have been challenging for her “on every front”.

The hearing in Raj Kundra s case is scheduled for Friday.
Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has filed a defamation suit in Bombay High Court against 29 media personnel and media houses. She accused them of false reporting and maligning her image after her businessman-husband Raj Kundra was arrested for alleged creation and distribution of pornographic content.
The 46-year-old actress urged the High Court to issue a permanent and mandatory injunction restraining the defendants, (themselves and through their servants, agents, assigns and/or any person claiming by or through them) from making and/or publishing and/or reproducing and/or circulating and/or speaking and/or communicating, any derogatory and defamatory statements.
