Brisbane baby death now suspicious , Queensland Police say Queensland Police are treating the tragic death of a five-month-old girl as a murder investigation, following a month-long inquiry. On the morning of November 16, emergency services were called by the child s mother to a unit complex in King Street in Annerley, Brisbane after the baby was reported unconscious and not breathing. Paramedics pronounced the baby girl dead soon after they arrived. Detective Acting Inspector Rod Watts said police did not initially consider the baby s death suspicious. But police inquiries and medical assessments now indicate the need for further investigation. Police have released CCTV of the child believed to be hours before her death.(Queensland Police)
