Nana Dr Dankawoso I inducted as President-General of WANF April 26, 2021 Nana Dr Appiagyei Dankawoso I (right) receives a sod of office as the President General of WANF from Justice Isaac Douse The Omanhene of Asante Juaben Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region, Nana Dr Appiagyei Dankawoso I, has been inducted into office as the President-General of the West Africa Nobles Forum (WANF). WANF is a non-governmental group of more than 3,000 eminent personalities from various fields of work across the sub-region, set up in 2003, to promote integrity and accountability as well as drive socio-economic integration. Nana Dankawoso, the immediate past President of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, takes over from Dr Paul Fynn, Chancellor of Wisconsin International University College, and would lead the Forum for five years.

Fire, Again, Razes Oko Baba Sawmill In Lagos

Spread the love (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Oko –Oba sawmill was again gutted by fire in the early hours of this morning while the concerted efforts of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service  prevented the fire from spreading to adjoining shanties and residential areas. This was announced by the Acting Controller, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye as she briefed journalists about the incident. According to a statement by the Service, “Adeseye disclosed that the Agency received an alert at about 0239 hours indicating that Oko Baba Saw-Mill was on fire and action was immediately taken with the deployment of three Fire Engines and crew members to combat the situation.

Joel Dommett meets Billy Monger as he completes Red Nose Day Challenge

Joel Dommett showed his support for Billy Monger and his charity triathlon on Friday as he met him at Brands Hatch Circuit in Kent.  The comedian, 35, sported a white tee and red plaid shirt to honour the colour of Billy s Big Red Nose Day Challenge.
