Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], August 20 (ANI): Petitioner-advocate Anindya Sundar Das has filed a caveat application in Supreme Court in connection with the Calcutta High Court order for a court-monitored Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into post-poll violence following the Assembly election in West Bengal.

Two judges of Calcutta High Court bench which ordered a CBI probe into alleged cases of rape and murder in West Bengal, termed as "uncalled for" an NHRC panel making recommendations and dismissed suggestions that some of its members were biased.
