Senior Hamas official Mahmoud Al-Zahar asked whether the “Neo-Arab-Zionist” regimes ask themselves about the reasons for the Holocaust. He made these remarks on Al-Etejah TV (Iraq) on April 10, 2021 in response to a Holocaust memorial event held in the UAE earlier in the month. Al-Zahar suggested that the “people who burned the Jews” have done so because the Jews in those countries “took over the economy and politics and exploited the resources of these peoples for their own benefit.” He said that the Holocaust was not an “extraordinary” case, because all European countries deported the Jews and killed them, because they spread corruption, controlled their money, and collaborated with the enemy.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that Turkey would like the intelligence, diplomatic, and political cooperation and discussions with Egypt, to lead to stronger ties between the two countries. He made these remarks in a public address aired on Bloomberg HT (Turkey) on March 12, 2021. Erdoğan said that relations are conducted at one level below the “top level,” and added: “It is not possible to place the people of Egypt beside the people of Greece.” He continued to say that Turkey was “saddened” by a joint Saudi-Greek military drill.
Fereydoon Abbasi, chairman of the Majles Energy Committee and former chief of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said that the recent explosion in the Natanz nuclear facility was caused by a sabotaged electricity hub. He made these remarks in an interview that aired on channel 3 (Iran) on April 12, 2021, one day after the explosion. Regarding the July 2020 explosion at the facility, he said that the explosives that had caused the blast were planted in a heavy table on which the centrifuges were balanced. He lamented that the enemy recruits people who are weak and do not believe in patriotic identity to carry out sabotage operations against Iran.

Ali-Akbar Salehi, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said that Iran has activated a full chain of 164 IR-6 centrifuges in the Natanz nuclear facility. Salehi’s remarks were made in an interview that aired on channel 1 (Iran) on April 10, 2021, one day before the Natanz facility suffered a major explosion. He said that this chain was originally planned to be activated only in seven or eight years. Salehi described nuclear progress in the Fordow facility, and said that Iran now has an enrichment capacity of 16,500 SWU, while it only had a capacity of 13,000 SWU before the JCPOA was signed in 2013. He said that it has been announced that the hall, in which the centrifuges are assembled at the Natanz facility has
