Monday will bring the second of four days of a sweltering heat wave to the Capital Region - with a heat index that could go over 100.
A high pressure ridge above the East Coast, that has a strong south to southwest flow of warm air that’s pulling from the Gulf of Mexico, is responsible for the heat wave that is hitting much of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
