Public-health officials reported 1,434 new COVID-19 cases and 46 deaths from Covid-19 yesterday making it the 57th consecutive day with more than 1000 new cases. This comes just as we spent our first full day in more than six weeks free of the state-imposed stay-at-home order. Meanwhile, the vaccine shut down at Petco Park was shut down yesterday for the 2nd day. Not sure why, but people say they got emails late the night before around 8pm telling them their appointment had got rescheduled for Saturday. They say the site was closed last minute for repairs. It was closed Monday due to inclement weather.

Super73 makes powerful e-bikes for offroad and urban use. By limiting the power on the motor electronically, they can also sell them to the European Union, where they classify as electric bicycles with 250W power and a top speed of 25 kph (15.5 mph).
Super73 describes its bikes a
“crossbreed between an electric bike and a motorcycle,” in that they offer a product that’s road legal without a permit (an e-bike, essentially) but can be unleashed to its full potential (2000 watts of power) if you’re into offroading or are riding on a private road.

This weekend, Disney pulled the plug on Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. The move came just a month before the ninth anniversary of the interactive dispersed attraction that will be remembered for its historic role in the evolution of themed entertainment. Spread across the Magic Kingdom, the interactive game had 20 automated stations, known as portals, where guests could battle Disney villains using “spell cards.” Multiple missions existed, each using a small handful of portals and requiring around a half-hour to complete.
La Bodega Finds New Home After Being Pushed Out by Rent Hike

After much uncertainty about its future, La Bodega Gallery in Barrio Logan will live on in the neighborhood.
Through a social media post, the gallery revealed it will be moving into The National 92113, a creative space inside a former heavy machinery workshop on the nearby corner of National and Sicard.
The Kensington-based firm Ten Seventy Architecture will help design the new floor plan, which is slated to include a gallery space and artist studios.
In the meantime, La Bodega will be hosting some pop-up art exhibits and fundraisers to cover costs related to permitting and construction. A GoFundMe page has also been set up for community members to donate.
