But, most of the places have none or very few vaccines available and a very long waiting list for the vaccinations. An updated map released Thursday shows six blue dots indicating various local health care facilities and pharmacies between Lock Haven and Williamsport that are a part of the COVID vaccine distribution program. However, that does not mean that people can get an appointment at those locations. Karla Sexton, compliance officer of River Valley Health and Dental Center in Williamsport, stated that there are over 4,000 phase 1A Williamsport citizens on the waiting list to be vaccinated.

But, most of the places have none or very few vaccines available and a very long waiting list for the vaccinations. An updated map released Thursday indicates six blue dots showing various local healthcare facilities and pharmacies between Lock Haven and Williamsport that are a part of the COVID vaccine distribution program. However, that does not mean that people can even get an appointment at those locations. There are over 4,000 phase 1A Williamsport citizens on the waiting list to be vaccinated at River Valley Health and Dental Center in Williamsport, according to Karla Sexton, compliance officer. The Center, which is located on Hepburn Street, has been given a very limited supply from the state, vaccinating about 50 people per week, she said.

Over 1,300 people vaccinated in county | News, Sports, Jobs - Williamsport Sun-Gazette

JONATHAN BERGMUELLER Lycoming County vaccine providers have successfully administered 1,354 vaccines as of Tuesday, according to new data released by the state Department of Health. Around 5,100 people are waiting out the two-week period between shots, which means Lycoming County will see at least 6,000 people completely vaccinated by the first weekend in February around 5% of the county’s population, according to 2019 census data. Meanwhile, Pennsylvania has administered just more than 132,100 successful vaccines, while another 605,600 remain in the works. The state’s department of health began releasing county-specific data on vaccination numbers this past weekend. On Sunday, it reported Lycoming County vaccinated 1,075 people with 4,195 people partially vaccinated. Those numbers jumped to 1,155 and 4,900, respectively, on Monday, before coming to Tuesday’s 1,354 and 5,111 reported figures, showing an exponential addition of vaccinations in the county.
