FIVE-year-old Addy Clarke has inspired an entire community to raise money and help her make memories with her family. The little girl suffers from a rare life-limiting condition called Batten’s disease which affects the nervous system and she is not expected to live past 10. So supporters decided to organise a market at Freshbrook Church, which raised more than £1500. Mum-of-two Lydia Rodger, from Blunsdon, who was behind the effort, was touched by Addy’s battle with the disease. She said: “It was really good. Everyone was having a good time. Addy made an appearance, and she had a wander around, she had a look and met everyone, it was lovely. She was very excited.
