Buttle is already known to TV audiences as co-host of The Great Australian Bake Off alongside fellow comic Claire Hooper. The stand-up, who is a familiar face on the stand-up circuit. said she said yes to the show as she was about to turn 40  - and because she has had an uncertain year because of the pandemic. ‘I thought, I’ve just been offered a great gig where I get to be funny and hang out with people and have challenges. What else am I going to do? Sit here and watch Dr Phil? she told The Sydney Morning Herald.
