Christmas is usually a time to spend with loved ones but sadly this year will be a little different with fewer family members able to mix thanks to the Tier 4 restrictions. This means great Christmas TV is needed more than ever, so what should everyone be watching? Here s a line-up of the best shows which are going to be shown tomorrow, Thursday, December 24, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Worzel Gummidge: Saucing Nancy
To kick off the celebrations, another Worzel Gummidge will be airing with actor Mackenzie Crook returning as the iconic scarecrow.
In this special, Worzel comes across an old friend, the carved ship s figurehead Saucy Nancy who wants to return to the sea.

Sunday, TG4, 9.30pm A concert of traditional music from St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church in the heart of Galway city, presented by Cormac Begley. During the 1990’s, the duet Begley and Steve Cooney reached national acclaim and were regarded as one of the foremost performers of Irish music. Cooney pioneered a new approach to traditional accompaniment and formed a perfect marriage with Begley’s energetic west Kerry style. They are joined by Canon Gary Hastings, Kevin Hough, Saileog Ní Cheannabháin and Clíodhna Ní Bheaglaoich, each bringing their own unique musical talents to this historic and majestic setting.

After We Collided (Amazon Prime, from Tue) Last year, the film After, based on the first in a series of young adult novels by Anna Todd, went down a treat with audiences and a sequel was quickly ordered. Fans will be pleased to see it s being offered up as an early Christmas gift by Amazon Prime. This time, young lovers Hardin and Tessa are no longer together. As he falls into bad habits, she lands the job of her dreams and attracts the attentions of her handsome co-worker - although she can t get Hardin out of her mind. Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Tessa Young play the photogenic couple.
