READY, steady, bake!Â
Amazon Prime has announced it will be investing their dough into a Spanish version of Celebrity Bake Off.Â
The COVID pandemic has left us all eager for new shows to devour, and it seems Amazon is rising to the challenge and commissioning 10-part original series Celebrity Bake Off España.Â
The show will see a dozen famous faces compete each week to prove their are cream of the crop – and come away with the coveted title of best celebrity amateur baker.
The Spanish version of the show is licensed from BBC Studios and will be produced by Boxfish TV. Boxfish previously adapted the regular version of Bake Off for Mediaset-owned Spanish broadcaster Telecinco in 2019. Edi Walter and Mariano Tomiozzo are executive producers.

Great Celebrity Bake Off fans were left in tears during Tuesday s episode of the show after Nadine Coyle referenced a friend s cancer battle, amid her bandmate Sarah Harding s heartbreaking diagnosis.
The Girls Aloud star, 35, was taking part in the final installment of the Stand Up To Cancer specials and while she didn t directly mention Sarah, 39, by name, fans were left convinced that she had referenced her bandmate when discussing her reasons for doing the show.
Watching the short but emotional scene play out, viewers took to Twitter to share their heartbreak at Nadine seemingly referencing Sarah s ordeal, with one person admitting their heart is in bits .

And after performing OK during the signature and technical rounds, it was the showstopper challenge in which she really impressed, as she mocked up a helicopter flight display out of chocolate cake.
Taking to Twitter, fans were quick to comment on Anneka s victory, noting that her Star Baker achievement was well deserved.
