StockMarketWire.com - Great Portland Estates joint venture GHS Limited Partnership said it had let a restaurant at the Hanover Square development to Colonial Property.
Colonial has agreed a twenty-year lease (without break) at an initial minimum rent of £600,000 per annum (plus a turnover top-up).
The restaurant comprises three levels, ground and two lower ground floors with a 1,100 sq ft raised external terrace overlooking the newly created 8,400 sq ft Medici Courtyard.
The restaurant is expected to open in the autumn of 2021.

Entain adds David and Jarman to board as senior director Morana exits

Stella David and Vicky Jarman are to join the board of directors of Entain as of 4 March, as senior independent director Stephen Morana steps down from the role to pursue his executive career as chief financial officer of online car retailer Cazoo.
Stella David will become senior independent director and joins the Remuneration, Nomination, and Environmental, Social and Governance Committees. Vicky Jarman has been appointed an independent non-executive director and joins the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
David was previously the chief executive of William Grant & Sons Distillers, after more than 15 years working with Bacardi Ltd, culminating in five years spent as the brand’s global chief marketing officer.

The conversion of a warehouse in Hackney, east London, not only found a new use for a building that faced demolition but reused as many materials as possible – both from the site and reclamation yards.

The AJ’s Rob Wilson and Fran Williams, who chaired the various judging panels, said the winning project was ‘notable for having transformed some previously unremarkable and ramshackle commercial structures into a rather poetic and beautiful whole’.
The scheme, which also won the Workplace under 2,000m² category, was revealed as the overall winner at the AJ Retrofit Awards virtual awards event held on Wednesday 24 February.
