According to
iHarare, senior lecturer Tapiwa Mudyahoto, has sued Nomsa Mwashita, a Bachelor of Education (BED) student who he taught the âIntroduction to Sportâ module and in 2019 under Part one Semester 2.
Mudyahoto claims that Mwashita made a false report to authorities alleging that he demanded sex from her in exchange for marks.
Mwashita allegedly went on to fail the subject taught by Mudyahoto and she blamed the result on her refusal to give in to her lecturerâs demands.
Mwashita also accused Mudyahoto of showing her his manhood when she visited his office.
In his defense, claims that Mwashita is just fabricating stories so that she can ruin his career. He revealed that the University has since cleared him of any wrongdoing after three independent lecturers remarked Mwashitaâs examination papers and gave her the same failed result.

The papers were served on Nomsa Mwashita this week under case number 234/2020 and Mirror investigations have shown that the plaintiff plans to defend herself against the claim.

Mudyahoto who says he has a PHD in Philosophy from Fort Hare University taught Introduction to sport module and in 2019 Mwashita was one of his 24 students under Part one Semester 2.

Herbert Tichauya Chikukwa
MASVINGO A lecturer in the department of Psychology at Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) Herbert Tichauya Chikukwa has died. He was 51.
Chikukwa died on December 3, 2020 at West End Hospital in Harare from injuries sustained in a car accident on November 20.
Family Spokesman Munyaradzi Chikukwa confirmed the death to The Mirror and said he was buried on December 6, 2020 at Chibaya village under Chief Charumbira.
GZU Psychology department chairperson DR Herbert Zirima said Chikukwa will be dearly missed.
“We are shocked and deeply saddened by the passing on of our colleague. We had hoped that he would recover from the accident. He was an easy-going character and a great team player. He will be greatly missed,” said Zirima.
