Cera announces $892,500 in capital funds coming to local counties
Dec 19, 2020
COLUMBUS, Ohio State Rep. Jack Cera announced the approval of the $2.5 billion capital appropriations budget for fiscal years 2021-2022 will bring nearly $900,000 to the local area.
The appropriations proposal was added as an amendment to Senate Bill 310 in conference committee.
The capital appropriations budget has been on hold for months due to the financial crisis of the pandemic. However, the Ohio legislature moved quickly before year’s end in passing the bill to help spur the economy.
“Supporting brick and mortar projects through the capital bill is always important because it creates jobs and invests in local communities,” said Cera, D-Bellaire.
