NEW DELHI, Dec 29: The youths belonging to the agitating farmers have cut off power supply and cables of more than 1500 mobile towers in Punjab to vent their anger on the infrastructure owned by billionaire Mukesh Ambani s telco firm Jio as they see him along with infrastructure tycoon Gautam Adani, who has built food grain silos in the state, as major beneficiaries of the new farm laws.
Though the mobile towers damaged in the last three, four days are the property of Reliance Industries Limited of Mukesh Ambani, Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday claimed they were built from hard earned money of people of the country for the future generations. He was speaking after inaugurating a dedicated railway freight corridor through video conference.

Reliance Industries Limited had earlier announced regarding acquisition of equity shares of IMG Reliance Limited (IMG-R) from IMG Singapore Pte. Ltd. The Company has, on December 28, 2020, completed the acquisition of equity shares of IMGR. Accordingly, IMG-R has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
Consequent to the aforesaid acquisition, the holding of the Company along with IMG-R in Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) is 65% and FSDL has become a subsidiary of the Company.
Shares of RELIANCE INDUSTRIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1989.2 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2003.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 250017 in over 12277 trades.
Reliance And BP Invite Bids For Sale Of Gas Produced From KG D6 Basin

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and BP Exploration Alpha Limited (BPEAL) have invited bids through online platform companies for the gas produced from the KG D6 basin in Kakinanda.
In a public notice, RIL and BP while inviting bids said they expect to sell the gas from 1 February 2021. The gas produced for KG D6 will be available for sale at the delivery point at Gadimoga near Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh tentatively from 01 February 2021, RIL and BP said in the notice.
Crisil Risk and Infrastructure Solutions has been appointed by the consortium to conduct the bidding process for sale of gas through an online web based electronic bidding platform.
