Jindal Steel To Supply Medical Oxygen To Telangana, Delhi And MP From Its Plant At Odisha s Angul Integrated steel complex at Angul in Odisha (Jindal Steel & Power) In a boost to the public - private partnership to combat severe shortage of medical oxygen, Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) announced on Thursday (22 April) that more than 500 tonnes of liquid oxygen is available at its Angul plant in Odisha. “We have more than 500 tons of liquid oxygen readily available at our Angul plant. Apart from this, we can provide 100 tonnes/day to any government that needs it. We will continue to support the nation in all possible ways in this war against the pandemic. The acquisition adds to Reliance s current stake in Oberoi hotels and hotel/managed residences in Mumbai that it s developing. Over the past four years, Reliance has announced $3.3 billion in acquisitions with 14 per cent in retail, 80 per cent in technology, media, and telecom (TMT) sector, and 6 per cent in energy. The UK-based firm, which owns a hotel and golf course in Buckinghamshire, UK, will add to Reliance s consumer and hospitality assets, the firm said in a filing late on Thursday.

Reliance Industries Limited on Friday announced that the company will be rolling out a COVID-19 vaccination programme for its employees and their family members above the age of 18 years from May 1. The vaccination programme is called R-Surakshaa . In a letter to RIL employees, the Chairman and Managing Director RIL Mukesh Ambani and Chairperson Reliance Foundation Nita Ambani said that the COVID-19 vaccine is a key weapon again the coronavirus and the company has continued to bear the vaccination cost for all the eligible members. In addition, as per the new guidelines of the Government of India, we are pleased to announce that Reliance will roll out its own vaccination programme, R-Surakshaa, across all locations for our employees and eligible family members above the age of 18 years, effective May 1, the letter added.
