Church Holds Drive-Up Food Pantry In Superior
Anybody was welcome to pick up a box of fresh produce grains and baked good.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- Faith United Methodist Church in Superior continued its 20 plus year food pantry tradition Tuesday – although a little different because of the pandemic.
People could drive up, tell a volunteer how many people were in their family, and boxes of food would be loaded into their car.
“We serve those who feel like they were in need and to reach out to those who are having difficult times. We all go through difficult times, different times in our lives and we wanna be there to help them through difficult times,” said Linda Berg, Director of the Food Pantry.

Congratulations to Mrs. Heather Marsh, Arcanum Band Director, for being voted as the Arcanum-Butler Teacher of the Year for 2020-2021! The Darke County Educational Service Center (ESC) held its annual luncheon to celebrate each district’s teacher of the year recipients. Teacher of the year recipients received plaques and planters donated by Garbig and Schmidt for their dedication to their students. The luncheon was catered by The Cater Box Food Service.
Starting in June, Faith United Methodist Church will begin Lunch & Learn segments in an area called “The Porch”. These will be held on the second Thursday of each month from 12 to 1 p.m. Bring a sack lunch, drinks and dessert will be provided. The first speaker on June 10 will be Jeannette, who will speak on the resources the Pregnancy Help Center has to offer. These Lunch & Learn segments will all be different informational
Faith United Methodist Church hosting popup COVID-19 vaccination event

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Faith United Methodist Church is hosting a popup COVID-19 vaccination event Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.
The church is located at 4000 Spring Park Road.
Workers with the federally-supported Gateway Mall site will administer both first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine at the church to people who are 16 and older. People 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive the vaccine.

POCAHONTAS Clinton A. Fogde, age 96, of Pocahontas, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Arlington Place in Pocahontas, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 24, 2021, at the Hope United Methodist Church in Pocahontas, Iowa with Rev. Kris Frank officiating.
Burial will be at Summit Hill Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa.
Come and Go Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 24, 2021, at the Hope United Methodist Church in Pocahontas.
