Donald C. Thatcher, 89 of Cambridge
Donald C. Thatcher, age 89 of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his home. He was born in Cambridge, Ohio on December 16, 1931 to his late parents Thomas C and Velma M. Thatcher. He was preceded in death by: a baby sister Betty; his first wife of 44 years Frances F. (Murphy); a son Chuck Thatcher; and a half brother Richard. Don was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the D.A.V. chapter #28 in Cambridge and Faith United Methodist Church. He also served as a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Cornelius, N.C. Don Started working when he was 9 years old delivering the Jeffersonian and selling Cloverleaf salve / ointment. He was also a runner for the Civil Defense during W.W. II.
Brian M. Rhodes, 48, of Lititz, passed away at Hospice & Community Care on Friday, January 15, 2021. He shared 20 wonderful years of marriage with his wife Jennifer "Nikki"
Southfield honors Martin Luther King with drive for justice parade

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (FOX 2) - The city of Southfield was the first city in Michigan to host a Dr. Martin Luther King peace walk. So, even with a pandemic in full effect, that peace walk became a drive as those participating got behind the wheel.
Organizers of the yearly event understood that Dr. King s message was highly relevant in 2021.
