Stillwater, the new thriller from Tom McCarthy, the director of the Oscar-winning
Spotlight. Damon’s roughneck oil-rigger from Oklahoma travels to France where his daughter (Abigail Breslin) has been arrested for murder. Everyone thinks she did it, so it’s up to Damon’s character to prove she’s innocent.
It sounds like a would-be awards picture, but
Stillwater is opening right in the middle of the summer. Watch the trailer below and yes, that is yet another sad cover of a upbeat pop song you’ll hear (Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son”):
Here’s the film’s official synopsis:
Arma 3: SOG Prairie Fire review – the definitive multiplayer Vietnam experience
SOG Prairie Fire has little for solo players, but wildly entertaining multiplayer - and enough raw new content to rival Apex
Arma 3 is showing its age now, coming up on eight years since its initial release. Now that I’ve had time to soak in the ray-traced sunbeams and shadows of Metro Exodus, the flat textures and low-polygon models of Bohemia’s military simulation sandbox can feel a bit like sitting amongst so many cardboard boxes. But it’s that very shabbiness that somehow sells the approach into Pleiku Air Base, located in the II Corps Tactical Zone in South Vietnam.

The Band that Fogerty Built was truly an American phenomenon during their relatively short recording career. Each of their albums, beginning with 1969 s Bayou Country, was a Top 40 hit-making machine. Willy & the Poor Boys.
more » produced two smashes Down on the Corner (which is about the fictional street group that gave the album its title) and Fortunate Son, Fogerty s most ferocious political rant. Each CCR LP was a concept collection of sorts, and this one was a tribute to the South, featuring two traditional standards popularized by Leadbelly as well as two instrumentals that made you swear CCR were from New Orleans rather than Oakland, California.
