Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce names new board chair

The Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce announced that Lisa Griffin, president and CEO of Eastern CT Savings Bank, has been elected to serve as chair of the board of directors.
Griffin joined the board in 2013 and became an officer, serving as secretary in 2014, quickly moving to vice-chairman in 2015. She serves as the chairman of the leadership program and is a member of the chamber s economic development committee.
Griffin actively gives back to the community and serves on many volunteer boards, including the Madonna Place and Three Rivers Community College Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and hiking.
A community COVID-19 testing site is now open at Mohegan Sun. Yale New Haven Health, the Mohegan Tribe and Mohegan Sun partnered to open the new site, which is located in the Mohegan Sun Thames Garage, according to an announcement Tuesday afternoon.
