A week after students of reputed Mumbai college complained about the online harassment they faced by proctors in an online exam, a committee has been formed by the institute to investigate the matter. The committee comprising deans and their legal representatives is expected to submit the report by next weekend.
Soon after the incident, the students of the institute took social media platforms to inform about the harassment they have faced. According to tweets shared by several Twitter users, the proctors were hired by a company called Mercer Mettl for the online examination of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
