Goodyear names new senior vice president of global operations

AKRON, Ohio – The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company announced Thursday that Christopher P. Helsel will replace Jonathan Bellissimo as senior vice president of global operations.
Helsel, 55, has been senior vice president and chief technology officer since 2017, and will continue as chief technology officer, the Akron-based company said in a news release.
Helsel has worked for Goodyear since 1996 in various roles including director of technology programs at Goodyear’s Innovation Center in Luxembourg and director of North American commercial and global off-highway technology.
