Brockville police officers responding to a call about a possible death ended up reviving a man believed to have overdosed on fentanyl.
City police responded at 10:25 on Friday morning to a call about a “body” on the floor of a business on Pearl Street.

Attending officers realized it was someone who appeared to have overdosed and immediately administered naloxone, police reported on Monday.
Paramedics arrived and transported the 25-year-old man to Brockville General Hospital; he was later released by medical staff. The man had reportedly used what was believed to be fentanyl shortly before overdosing.
