Netflix’s NSFW anthological animated sci-fi series Love, Death + Robots is returning for a second season so expect more frightening creatures, wicked surprises and dark comedy from creator Tim Miller and director David Fincher.

The Emmy Award-winning series, described by Netflix as a “genre orgy of NSFM [mainstream] stories”, is comprised of 18 short films (ranging from five to 15 minutes in length), each telling a unique and original story with a different animation style. It’s executive produced by Fincher, known for Seven, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Mindhunter and The Social Network.
Blur Studio, the award winning animation company founded by Deadpool director Miller, has led the production of the series. Love, Death + Robots has brought in directors, writers and animation studios from around the world, so each individual story is completely unique.

Theo James won’t be reprising his role as Sidney Parker in ITV’s sumptuous period drama Sanditon when it returns for seasons two and three.

The series adapted from Jane Austen’s unfinished novel was recently renewed for a second and third run, after initially being cancelled by ITV back in 2019. It will air first as an exclusive on BritBox UK before being broadcast on ITV at a later date.
When the show returns to our small screens, sadly Divergent star James won’t be back as the enigmatic Sidney, as he says he wants to maintain the “broken fairy-tale” ending of series one.

Big Mouth creators have revealed what fans can expect from season five, and how they came to recast Ayo Edebiri as Missy.

During a virtual panel as part of the USC Comedy Festival, co-creator-EPs Mark Levin, Andrew Goldberg, and Jennifer Flackett opened up about the new series, with Levin hinting at possible themes.
Levin said the show will “explore a little bit more about kids advocating and becoming political.”
While Flackett added that it’s too challenging to make the series topical in its comedy, as it takes so long to create a season.
