In a Facebook post, Vice President Leni Robredo said they will pilot the program called KOLAB: Komunidad Laban sa Covid in her home town of Naga City.
“Aside from the Swab Cab and Bayanihan E-Ataman, we have also decided to come together and launch an aggressive Covid Prevention Campaign,” she said Wednesday night.
The OVP’s Swab Cab is in Naga to provide free mobile antigen testing to residents. So far, the vice president said they have swabbed 336 people, with 44 of them testing positive.
“That’s a positivity rate of 13.09 percent. Still high. Our goal is a 7-day average of less than 5 percent,” she added.

“Let the court decision speak for itself.”
A judge need not send cellphone text messages to the parties in a case or to their lawyers to explain his decision or suggest what legal recourse to take, the Supreme Court (SC) said.
With these admonitions, the SC suspended for six months without pay Naga City regional trial court (RTC) Judge Soliman M. Santos Jr. who, on Dec. 17, 2018, acquitted a couple of estafa charge but ordered them to pay P1.39 million in damages to the complainant.
After promulgating his decision on the case, Judge Santos sent a text message to the parties’ lawyers and asked them, in effect, to accept his decision or to file a motion for reconsideration since his ruling was not yet final.
