Knoxville organizations have partnered to create #HealthyKnoxville, which is a monthly community wellness challenge designed to inspire the community to live a healthier lifestyle. Along with physical health, Kevin Stittsworth with Knoxville Hospital & Clinics says that other aspects of health will be emphasized, including mental, spiritual, and even financial.
“It really touches on the holistic person. We want people to live healthier physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, financially. There’s really something for everyone that wants to start improving. And what better time to start than January?”
Other organizations involved include the Knoxville Wellness Coalition, Knoxville Community School District, Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Knoxville. Participants that complete the monthly challenges can also enter to win prizes from Knoxville businesses. Learn more about this initiative on today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
