WalletHub finds that Iowa is among the least sinful states in the U.S. While the findings are great, each state still has their own vices and virtues. And we all end up paying for them. Missouri has the nation s worst drug problem. Nevada has the countries top gambling issue. But we share the costs of those sins.
WalletHub reports that gambling costs the U.S. $5 billion a year. The money we lose from smoking is a staggering $300 billion. Our vices can end us costing all citizens big time, no matter where you live. But, some states do better than others. WalletHub looked at the following criteria when compiling their state scores.
