RoomRaccoon crowned best hotel management system for second year in a row

RoomRaccoon has scooped the prestigious HotelTechAward for the best hotel management system in the world for the second year in a row.
The company – which has offices in Manchester and Stowmarket – was also awarded the hoteliers choice award and best place to work in hotel tech award.
The HotelTechAwards are the highest accolade in the business as the winners are not determined by a panel of judges but by product reviews from thousands of users from more than 120 countries.
Adam Clarke, RoomRaccoon’s Country Manager UK, said he was delighted the software had been able to help so many businesses in the sector.

Lancashire Constabulary will be the first force to use hi-tech body cameras from Motorola Solutions.
The cameras work with a digital policing app, which has been designed to create an “efficient digital workflow” instead of the traditional time-consuming manual procedures. It should also improve evidence quality and transparency.
“This investment is about giving our officers the best tools we can for the job, making it quicker and more efficient and improving the quality of evidence, so we can provide a great service to citizens”, said Dave Hannan, Chief Inspector at Lancashire Constabulary.
“The roll out of this technology will be a vital tool in bringing offenders to justice, especially those who take part in crime that is naturally more difficult to prosecute such as domestic abuse and public order offences.”
