Saline man arrested for attempted murder in RV arson

The State Fire Marshalâs Office (SFM) has arrested a Saline man for setting fire to his relativesâ RV, leaving two people injured.
Jeremie Dewayne Aldy, 43, was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center on three counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder and one count of Aggravated Arson.
He was booked in connection with a January 10 fire that happened in the Country Haven Trailer Park.
Natchitoches Fire District #2 was called to the Saline trailer park at about 3 p.m. Firefighters found the RVâs three occupants outside; a woman had serious burns, a man had cuts from trying to rescue the woman. A second woman wasn t injured. The two injured victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment and the SFM was contacted to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
