POULSBO – There was no traditional Third of July celebration in Poulsbo this year, but the downtown area does have a new feature that draws eyes to the sky.
“We don’t have fireworks this year, but we have a nice crane,” Tom Rose, who chairs the Port of Poulsbo’s board of commissioners, notes with a laugh.
The large crane that’s taken up residence in one of Poulsbo’s downtown parking lots has assisted in a rebuild of the port’s boat launch, one of the port’s large infrastructure projects currently in the works.
