(collectively “Indivior”) to settle allegations that Indivior falsely and aggressively marketed and otherwise promoted the drug Suboxone, resulting in improper expenditures of state Medicaid funds. The Attorney General’s Office says the total portion of the settlement amount to be recovered by South Dakota is $33,034.36, of which $19,382.40 will be retained by the federal government as the federal Medicaid share. The remaining $13,651.96 will go to the state general fund to offset alleged Medicaid damages in this case.
