VP Harris Visits North Carolina To Tout Infrastructure Plan
(Greensboro, NC) Kamala Harris is touting the American Jobs Plan in the Tarheel State. The vice president made a visit yesterday to Greensboro and High Point, where she spoke about the potential for jobs and training. The plan is also expected to provide North Carolina with funds to work on things like physical infrastructure and broadband expansion. Also making the visit was EPA administrator Michael Regan, who graduated from North Carolina A & T State University.
Another Asheville Homeless Camp Evacuated

Forsyth Countyâs three main vaccine providers have halted the use of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine â three days after nearly 5,900 doses were given at two mass vaccination clinics in Winston-Salem.
The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration said Tuesday âwe are recommending a pause in the use of this vaccine out of an abundance of cautionâ until a review is completed.
The agencies said six women in the U.S. between the ages of 18 and 48 came down with a rare disorder that produced blood clots after being vaccinated with the one-dose J&J vaccine. One woman died, and a second woman in Nebraska has been hospitalized in critical condition, according to The New York Times.
