COVID-19 has put a damper on some of our Christmas spirit, but NACL is hoping they have a solution.
On December 20th, the Norfolk Association for Community Living is hosting a free, Virtual Holiday Party through Zoom.
Stella Barker is the executive director of NACL, she says they wanted to do something special.

Three new cases of COVID-19 and four new recoveries were reported by the Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit on Tuesday morning, making the number of active cases 51 in the two counties.
Recently, COVID-19 cases have been identified in the following schools: Lakewood Elementary School, Port Rowan Public School, Langton Public School, Teeterville Public School, St. Joseph’s School, and Simcoe Composite School.

On Monday afternoon, outbreaks were declared at two homes run by Norfolk Association for Community Living. No other information was provided regarding the outbreaks by the health unit.
COVID-19 has hit two group homes run by the Norfolk Association for Community Living.
The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at the two group homes run by the NACL this afternoon.
No other information was provided at this time, other than a public health management plan has been instituted.
