A newborn baby who was found concealed in a handbag died from unknown causes, an inquest has heard.
The baby, whose exact date of birth is unknown but was given as May 11, 2020, was found on May 18 outside her mother s home address in Acle.
Norfolk Police are not treating her death as suspicious, but said investigations had taken place into various people involved and it was not in the public interest to pursue the matter as the large number of gaps in the investigation cannot be adequately filled to satisfy the requirements of criminal law .

A man died on his birthday as a result of complications suffered while he was being restrained by police officers, an inquest has heard.
Krystian Kilkowski, a machine operator who lived in Diss, died in hospital last year, following an incident with police in the town on August 10.
It happened on Victoria Road, outside the Morrisons supermarket and saw Mr Kilkowski taken seriously unwell after being detained under the Mental Health Act.

A Norfolk woman died three days after her 41st birthday, an inquest has heard.
Laura Allen, from Gorleston, died at the James Paget University Hospital on September 30, last year.
At an inquest opened into her death, held at Norfolk Coroner s Court on February 26, Yvonne Blake, area coroner for Norfolk said Ms Allen had worked as a traffic warden.
Her cause of death was given as 1A: acute gastric haemorrhage and 1B: acute erosive gastritis.
Following her death, a notice placed in the Great Yarmouth Mercury by her colleagues in parking services described Ms Allen as a greatly valued colleague and friend.

A student who crashed his grandmother s car in North Norfolk died as a result of his injuries, an inquest has heard.
Daniel MacMillan, 18, died at the scene of the crash on East Ruston Road in Lessingham, near Happisburgh, on August 27 last year.
At an inquest into his death, held at Norfolk Coroner s Court on February 26, Yvonne Blake, area coroner for Norfolk, said Mr MacMillan, who lived in London, had been staying with his grandparents in the area.
A collision investigation into the crash found Mr MacMillan had failed to negotiate a right-hand bend, causing the car he was driving to come off the road and collide with a tree.
