Thirteen months after his co-defendant was found not guilty, the remaining suspect in a 2017 Bethlehem homicide was sentenced Tuesday to as many as 32 years in prison.
Xavier Sheldon Snyder, 21, of Washington in Warren County, pleaded guilty in November 2019 to third-degree murder and conspiracy to commit third-degree murder in the shooting death of 19-year-old Teayahe Glover.
Snyder was charged in the killing along with Kasheem Aiken, and Snyder’s plea deal included a promise to testify against Aiken. Snyder claimed Aiken pulled the trigger, prosecutors said, but a Northampton County jury in January 2020 acquitted Aiken of murder and conspiracy.
