Boy ‘sexually tortured’ by student on Bethlehem school bus, lawsuit alleges Updated Feb 25, 2021; Parents of a young boy are suing the Bethlehem Area School District, alleging their son was repeatedly sexually assaulted on a district school bus and that school officials did nothing to stop the attacks. The federal lawsuit filed Wednesday against the school district claims the “violent, physical and sexual torture” by another student took place over four months in 2019 on a bus to Farmersville Elementary School in Bethlehem Township. The school district’s solicitor declined to comment about the lawsuit. The parents said problems began when an older student on the bus began bullying their son, who is now 6, in September 2019.
