Ex-Northampton Community College staff member admits he had child porn (UPDATE) Updated Feb 10, 2021; A year ago, two Northampton Community College students reported spotting what appeared to be an explicit image of a young girl on a computer in the office of an assistant in the school’s arts department. On Tuesday, the one-time NCC staff member, Alan West, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, according to the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office. Sentencing is tentatively scheduled May 5. “Alan West is a former NCC employee who served as a part-time assistant in the art department,” the community college said in a statement Tuesday. “His employment was discontinued a year ago on Feb. 10, 2020 for violating college policy immediately subsequent to” a police investigation.
