NCDC sets up committee to find replacement for Vincent

NORWICH Officials with the Norwich Community Development Corporation took the first steps forward Thursday since announcing the death of its president and executive director Jason Vincent. In a statement a day earlier, NCDC chairman Robert Buckley confirmed Vincent s death - he had been reported missing and the National Park Service said the body of a man fitting the description of Vincent was recovered in West Virginia on Monday - and extended sympathies to the family and friends.  We are greatly saddened by the tremendous loss of his presence, guidance, and inspiration, Buckley said. On Thursday, a special board of directors meeting was held to determined how existing projects Vincent led should be continued and how the organization could go about finding a new president. By the end of the meeting, a committee was formed consisting of Board Officers Rebecca Alberts, Bob Staley and Chris Jewell, and Board Members John Salomone, Jason Jones and Michael Rauh.
