A Lynn doctors surgery will be leading the way in the fight against coronavirus by offering vaccinations against the disease today.
The St James Surgery, along with the Fakenham Medical Practice, will begin vaccinating people this morning against Covid-19.
Patients were being contacted yesterday by the surgeries to tell the the news that people have been waiting and praying for since coronavirus took a grip of the UK back in the spring.

Vaccinations are due to start at 8am sharp. Traffic cones were put in place yesterday outside the St James Surgery ready to control traffic as people arrived to have their jab.
“I was really pleased because I thought it would be complicated but it was so straightforward and simple,” she said.
“They gave me a time for this visit and one in three weeks time, and I was really pleased to have the opportunity.
“I m quite surprised, I didn t think it was going to be as straightforward as it was.
“My experience is that there is absolutely no problem. I ve had it now and it was so straightforward and it is to help us all to move on.

A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a bus in Norwich city centre.
Police were called to the Red Lion Street area of Norwich on Monday, at around 2.08pm, following a crash between a bus and a pedestrian.

The woman has been taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in Norwich for further treatment having suffered what are believed to be serious injuries in the crash.
