The Eclipse stand has, from memory, a 5/16 BSF tapping for the standard pillar. The heavier one shown is a later addition. A good upgrade.
But the OP s equipment looks to be of industrial quality, and good solid kit to have. It may well have from a Standards Room or a Toolroom. so is likely to have been misused.
A good acquisition.

When you say Industrial Quality - mine s got Turbine Dept Sept 69 stamped on it, so I think it was used in a factory somewhere. Once clamped, it s going nowhere.
I d think if the O/P s stand was used as you suggest, it would have been looked after far better than a shop floor item.

Avoid welding anything with galvanising on it. The zinc fumes are very bad indeed. I always do any welding outdoors, if nothing else it annoys the neighbours, but at least it s well ventilated
You know these comments about zinc and galvanising are so true but it is interesting to note the wider contradictions. We all accept, I am sure the restrictions on welding galvanised material. However I am a carp welder but bought my first MIG set from the welding specialists in Copnor Road Portsmouth in 1995. I was also sold a couple of aerosol cans. This was to be sprayed on the seams and areas to be welded as this helped us rank novices to get better results.
I picked up one of the LidL ones which works adequately given its low power.
If I ever get more ambitious I shall get something much more serious, probably £200 or so range. I ve been inside a low end import one that died after a very short time. It wasn t pretty. Too much emphasis on price and not enough on performance and engineering!
Interestingly the LidL instructions says not to use it on glasses. Presumably the ultrasonic cavitation forces are large enough to risk coating separation from the glass.
Certainly the one we had in the lab had a very strict list of what could be cleaned and what power settings to use But that was very old technology, separate power supply about as big as the cleaner, and silly powerful. Allegedly able to disintegrate thin aluminium sheet. A story I never cared to test. It was loud when operating.
