An Igbo herdswoman in Ngwuru, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, Mrs Ekene Obayi, has explained how unemployment pushed her into rearing of cattle.
Mrs Obayi, who is also a mother of two children, further explained that after her graduation from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN, in 2014 where she studied Archaeology and Tourism and the eventual completion of one year National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, programme, she was forced to join her family business of cattle rearing when all her efforts to secure a white collar job yielded no positive result.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State will on 20th of December, 2020, be at the Nsukka/Igbo Eze South Federal Constituency, to commission a list of projects.
The projects were attracted by Rt. Hon. Dr. Patrick Asadu, who is the member representing the said constituency.
The said projects to be commissioned by the Governor include the Agbamere Road in Eha Alumona, (Nsukka Local Government Area) the Inland Road phase 1 of Ibagwa-Aka (Igbo-Eze South LGA).
Governor Ugwuanyi will also inspect the ongoing construction of Umugbabe to Uhunowerre Road project (Igbo-Eze South LGA) and then lay a foundation stone for the construction of Nru Road, in the Nsukka Local Government Area of the State.
EEDC to commence free distribution of prepaid meters in Nsukka District 2021

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, weekend, revealed plans to commence distribution of free prepaid meters to electricity consumers at Nsukka District, in the first quarter of 2021.
The EEDC Network Manager of Nsukka district, Abuchi Mekowulu, disclosed this in Nsukka while addressing irate protesters who stormed their office at Enugu Road over unjustified high electricity tariff.
Mekowulu said that EEDC in collaboration with Federal Government would make it possible for all customers to get prepaid meters in 2021starting from first quarter of the year.
“EEDC is optimistic that before the end of 2021, all customers will get prepaid meters free of charge. With prepaid meter, the complaint of high monthly estimated bills will be over,” he said.

The Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, will on the 20th of December, 2020, commission development projects across Nsukka/Igbo Eze South Federal Constituency in the state.
Vanguard gathered that the projects were attracted by the federal lawmaker representing the constituency in the House of the Representatives, Pat Asadu.
The governor will equally flags-off the distribution of empowerment items to the constituents.
The projects to be commissioned by the governor according to a press release by Asadu includes the Agbamere Road in Eha Alumona, Nsukka Local Government Area; the inland Road phase 1 of Ibagwa-Aka at Igbo-Eze South Council Area; inspection of the ongoing construction of Umugbabe Uhunowerre Road project, also in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area.
