He learned more about it in and out of class, which caused him to be one of the first early adopters of bitcoin and crypto currency.

After a period of rapid growth, strong fintech regulation is on the rise in China. The scale of third-party payments has increased from 13 trillion RMB in 2013 to 300 trillion RMB in 2019, while internet wealth management has grown from less than 1 trillion RMB in 2013 to over 5.5 trillion RMB in 2018. However, some fintech firms have engaged in improper activities, using financial instruments such as P2P lending, microfinance, and asset-backed securities. This has allowed them to achieve excessive leverage or even fraud, creating systemic risks. Indeed, China’s 2020 Government Work Report stated that the supervision of fintech firms is necessary to ensure that innovation occurs under proper regulation.

MTN Nigeria said it has enrolled 37.2 million National Identification Numbers (NINs) for its subscribers in the ongoing exercise of linking the number with the Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) card.
The federal government had as at February 1, 2021, put the total figure of NINs received by all mobile network operators, at 56.18 million, up from the initial 47.8 million NINs received as of January 18.
With the 37.2 million NINs received by MTN alone, the telecoms company has assured the federal government of its commitment to speed up the NIN-SIM linkage exercise, as mandated by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the telecoms industry regulator.
