Police said they have arrested a woman who was in a long-term relationship with the man.

The man who was fatally stabbed in Brooklyn Center on Saturday has been identified as a 40-year-old Minneapolis man.
According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner s Office, Gus Lewis Jr. died from a stab wound to the chest at 1:30 a.m. at North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Brooklyn Center police officers responded to the 5500 block of Humboldt Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, where they found Lewis with a stab wound, police said over the weekend.

Riley, 63, died of cancer Jan. 12 at North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale. Sam handled [dying] as he did most things, said Kristen Barstow, his partner of many years. He took it into his own hands and dealt with it.
Riley, raised by his adoptive parent, Jesse Riley, graduated from Minneapolis North High School, attended the University of Minnesota and served four years in the Army National Guard. He was trained as a paratrooper, but Barstow said he didn t enjoy jumps.
