It did not take long until the criticism started to rise against the renowned dancer, with even an ex-President Saakashvili commenting on the situation that was unwrapping at the time when he was interviewed. However, on top of the expected wave of public disapproval, a historical, and, indeed, rhetorical question has been raised – should art be separated from politics, and does it, truly, have no borders?
