Belarus-Russia Union State budget for 2021 adopted Archive photo MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) – The Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia adopted the Union State budget for 2021 at its 59th session on 21 December, BelTA has learned. “When we speak about the integration in the Union State, we point out the importance of joint activities, especially if they are backed financially and by joint projects. The Union State budget has been formed fully. It equals around RUB4.7 billion, 84% of which will be spent to finance nine joint programs and 26 joint activities. It is important to finance them on schedule, with Russian and Belarusian parties delivering proper results. This applies to defense, border security, and innovative products. Another important program is related to the rehabilitation of Chernobyl-affected territories,” said Marianna Shchetkina, the head of the Minsk office of the Standing Committee of the Union State.
