Malaysia s extended Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO/PKPB) and Recovery MCO (RMCO/PKPP) in designated states take effect today, for the next two weeks (29 April to 17 May 2021). In light of this, the National Security Council (MKN) has released an updated set of SOPs that need to be followed in this period.

pix) will hold a meeting with the Selangor Security Council Committee tomorrow to review the implementation of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in the state.
Selangor has recorded the highest number of new infections in the country for the past three days.
“Today is the third day in a row that the new Covid-19 case has reached four figures again. Tomorrow’s meeting will raise the recommendations for the implementation of CMCO in Selangor to the National Security Council for the consideration of the Federal government,“ he said in a tweet today.
CMCO: Sabah to continue allowing inter-district travel according to zones

The Sabah state government has decided to continue to allow inter-district travel according to six zones, although the state yesterday changed the status from Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) to Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
State Local Government and Housing Minister Masidi Manjun said as such, Sabahans will only be allowed to travel between districts in zones that have been determined.

COVID-19 cases in Malaysia have been surging past the 2,000 mark for 13 consecutive days now, with
2,733 confirmed cases recorded today, 27th April 2021. To step up the fight against the pandemic, the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) has been extended in 5 states – KL, Selangor, Penang, Johor, and Sarawak – with Sabah also now under the CMCO.
The CMCO in these states was slated to end on 28th April, but will now restart on 29th April for another 2 weeks, and end on 17th May.
