NACOGDOCHES COUTNY, Texas (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches County Sheriffâs Office has released the names of the three Melrose residents who died of apparent carbon monoxide poisoning.
The victims have been identified as Deborah Wright, 63, and James Harkness Jr., 60, both of Nacogdoches, and Richard Woodard, 42, of Mt. Enterprise.
â(We) would like to extend their deepest condolences to the family members and loved ones that have been affected by this terrible tragedy,â the Nacogdoches County Sheriffâs Office said in a statement released on Facebook.

CY-FAIR Texas (KTRE) - EMS personnel with the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department transported a family of six to a Houston-area hospital for treatment of carbon monoxide poisoning Monday after they tried to use a charcoal grill to heat their apartment.
According to a tweet from the Cy-Fair VFD, four of the six people taken to the hospital were children, ages 5 through 10. One adult and one child are in critical condition.
Emergency personnel with the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department transported two families to Houston-area hospitals Tuesday after they suffered carbon monoxide poisoning as a result of trying to heat their apartments with charcoal grills.
